Nicolas Cage 'I dream of doing 20000 leagues under the sea'

Nicolas Cage wants to go under!

The eccentric actor has told of his dream of going 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea to play Jules Verne’s legendary Captain Nemo.

“I’ve always likes science fiction and Jules Verne,” he said.

“One day, one of my dreams is to do Nemo in 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.

“That would be a dream come true. I just need to find a way to make it happen.”

Cage recently claimed to be psychic when it comes to superheroes.

The Ghost Rider star says he predicted the current craze for comic book hero movies back when he was a child and now he’s watching it all come true.

“I actually had a vision of it when I was nine,” says Nic, 47, who took his stage name from one of his favorite comic book characters.

“I knew this was going to happen. It took a while because we didn’t have the technology to make them come to life so magnificently as we do today. It was always so goofy, the stupid costumes of Spider-Man in the old movies in the 60′s and 70′s, and Captain America. But now it’s become all the rage because there’s something in it for everybody. It’s perfect entertainment. It’s exciting for me.”
