Kim Kardashian urged to take showbiz break

Kim Kardashian has been urged to step out of the spotlight!

Kardashian family friend Kathie Lee Gifford thinks the newly single socialite needs to step down and take a break from show business.

“If Kim truly wants to be happy, she needs to get out of the spotlight for a long time,” she said.

Kathie Lee even blames Kim’s obsession with the limelight for the demise of her 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries.

“She was all caught up in the planning on it. So many people were expecting and counting on her,” she said. “And a marriage is not about other people. A marriage is about two people getting married.

“Remember, it’s called reality television, but there’s no reality to it. It’s a show.

“The reality is very different than what you see on TV.”
