Ashton Kutcher hopes Demi Moore breakdown is because of split?

Ashton Kutcher is on an ego trip.

According to reports, the actor hopes estranged wife Demi Moore‘s recent breakdown is because of their split.

“This is not just about Ashton,” a close friend of the actress told E! News. “I’m sure Ashton would like to think it’s all about him.

“It’s really more about the toll it takes on any ambitious woman in this town. constantly having to prove you’re not just a pretty face but a talented actor, as well. Constantly having to prove you’re a good mother, not just a celebutante around town who goes to parties instead of looking after her family.

“Having to stay sober in a town that’s so not.”

Moore, 49, suffered an apparent overdose and convulsions Monday night brought about by a combination of drugs that have yet to be identified by investigators. She was rushed to the hospital shortly thereafter.

Insiders recently revealed that they’ve been concerned about Demi for quite some time.

“Really, it was over the last year her friends saw a change,” a source told People magazine.

“She wasn’t sleeping as well, didn’t seem to be eating and looked really gaunt.

“Demi is a mess.

“It was a sticking point for Ashton. He wanted her to take care of herself and get a hold of things, and she wouldn’t.

“Her family and friends have been really worried.

“[Ashton and Demi] both like to party, but she tends to wear it all over her. She can talk too much, get verbally abusive and weigh on your nerves.

“Demi has had too much pride to come clean about her issues. She wouldn’t allow people to talk to her about them.”
