Kiefer Sutherland slows down for dad role in Touch

Kiefer Sutherland may need to take a day off once in a while judging by how wrapped up he is in spooky new show, Touch.
The 24 star plays the father of an autistic child who has the ability to see the future through random numbers, and it’s having an effect of Kiefer in real life.
“I am more aware of things now,” says the Lost Boys star.
“Like, instead of saying, ‘Ooh that was lucky,’ I think about it a little bit more and maybe realize that it wasn’t that lucky.
“I think with almost every great thing that has ever happened to me in my life I will find out 10 years later that someone had made a phone call to someone else and had been really great on my behalf. So I think about things in a different way now.”
Kiefer recently revealed he thinks it is “arrogant” to suggest humans are the only form of life in the universe, and often ponders about extra-terrestrials when he looks up at the stars.
“When I look up at the sky on a clear night and see the wash of stars and planets, and everything that is outside our universe, I have to believe there is life everywhere,” he said.
“It would be very arrogant to believe this is the only planet that could sustain some kind of life.”
