Sam Worthington doesn't know if he's fat

Sam Worthington has hit back at those who have poked fun at his new “fat” physique.

The Clash of the Titans star was pictured on a beach holiday over Christmas looking less than his usual ripped self.

Now Sam is setting the record straight over claims he has let himself go.

“It was Christmas. Are you kidding me?” says Sam, 35. “I’ve never really given two craps about how I look anyway. I love my paunch.

“I embrace it. If you have a big middle-waist then embrace it. It’s more loving. I don’t know if I’m fat. I just enjoy myself.”

Sam recently revealed he keeps all his belongings in two bags.

“I’ve got a bag of clothes and a bag of books. I don’t own a phone and I don’t want to own one. Sydney’s home but I am never normally there. I’m a gypsy. I go where the work is,” he said.

“The white picket fence at home in Australia has never really appealed to me. I’m not very responsible when it comes to mortgages, bills, paperwork.

“I could have had that years ago and I chose not to. Maybe when I’m 60 I’ll settle down. At the moment I like my lifestyle.”
