Channing Tatum has no plans for music career

Channing Tatum turns to stone when he’s faced with a microphone!

The GI Joe hunk says of all things he is scared of karaoke the most and will do anything to make sure he never has to face the music.

“I’ve never done it and I won’t for anyone,” says Tatum, 31.

“I have a bit of a phobia about it. I’ll backup dance for anyone though. That’s how I get out of it. I’ll backup dance or join in on the chorus but I’d never do it alone.”

Tatum recently admitted he is “not the best actor” in the world.

“You gotta do the Dear Johns. You gotta do The Vow,” he said.

“I’m conscious about why I did those parts, those movies. I wanted to learn from Rachel McAdams on The Vow.

“I wanted to learn from Lasse Hallstrom on Dear John he did The Cider House Rules and What’s Eating Gilbert Grape. I didn’t go to acting school, so my knowledge of story, filmmaking, and character comes from just being on set and doing it.

“I know I’m not the best actor. But I hope my characters are getting better.”
