Brad Pitt‘s injured knee has led to balance problems

The Moneyball actor was forced to walk with a cane for a few weeks after sustaining ligament damage when he slipped whilst carrying his daughter Vivienne and Brad admits it had made him “lopsided”.

“I was getting all lopsided,” he said.

“So, I’m trying to balance out now.”

Brad’s also revealed his six children Maddox, 10, Pax, eight, Zahara, seven, Shiloh, five, and Knox and Vivienne, three with partner Angelina Jolie have been putting him under pressure to propose and he has now promised to buy her a ring.

“We’re getting a lot of pressure from the kids,” he said.

“It means something to them. [They asked me to] ‘get mommy a ring, so I said ‘OK, I will! I will.’”

Although Brad and Angelina had previously vowed not to marry until gay couples are also allowed to, the 48-year-old has recently revealed a change of heart.

“We’d actually like to and it seems to mean more and more to our kids,” he said.

“We made this declaration some time ago that we weren’t going to do it till everyone can. But I don’t think we’ll be able to hold out. It means so much to my kids, and they ask a lot. And it means something to me, too, to make that kind of commitment.”

Mike Tyson to be inducted into WWE Hall of Fame

Mike Tyson has claimed he is going to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

The former heavyweight champion boxer is set to be honored by the wrestling company this year for his contribution to the sport.

“I am honored to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame,” he said.

“I was the youngest heavyweight champion of all time, but the most fun I ever had in the ring was with WWE.”

Tyson’s claims may come as a surprise to wrestling fans as he has only ever appeared on WWE programming on a few occasions.

His most famous in-ring appearance came at WrestleMania XIV in 1998 when he acted as a special enforcer in the match between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels both of whom are Hall of Fame inductees.

The 45-year-old retired pugilist most recently acted as the guest host ofMonday Night Raw last year.

The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony takes place at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida, on March 31 the day before WrestleMania XXVIII.

Tyson who is a member of the International Boxing Hall of Fame is not the first non-wrestler to be recognized by the company.

Reese Witherspoon impressed with Pattinson

Reese Witherspoon is impressed with how Robert Pattinson handles his fame.

The Twilight Saga actor and his girlfriend and costar Kristen Stewart are besieged by fans wherever they go and Reese who has made two movies, Vanity Fair and Water for Elephants, with Robert admitted she would find it difficult to cope if she was in same situation.

“I’ve never experienced what he has going to premieres and there’s just millions of people waiting for him to touch them,” she said.

I think it must be strange, but I don’t even know how to process what he deals with and Kristen deals with. I don’t know. [He's]a really cool guy.”

Reese also revealed that fame hasn’t changed 25-year-old Robert and says he is “appreciative” of his success.

Robert and Reese are so close that the British actor reportedly sent the 35-year-old star some glow-in-the-dark exercise clothes after she was hit by a car while out jogging last year to ensure she doesn’t suffer the same fate again.

The gift parcel from Robert contained reflective vests, wrist bands, tennis shoes and a hat all of which were designed by Stella McCartney and was sent to the actress’ house along with a note wishing her a speedy recovery.

“Reese was very touched by Rob’s gesture,” a source said.

“She intends to keep running and the gear will come in very handy when it’s dark outside.”

Halle Berry's daughter recommended for counselling

Halle Berry‘s daughter has been recommended to have counseling by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services.

Family Services is currently investigating claims by the child’s nanny Alliance Kamden that Halle’s ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry pushed her while she was holding the former couple’s three-year-old daughter Nahla.

Now TMZ is reporting investigators have suggested the tot may benefit from some therapy sessions, even though there has been no suggestion that Nahla was hurt in the alleged incident.

Alliance has claimed Gabriel shoved her during an argument earlier this month over the French-Canadian model’s decision to keep his daughter off school.

Halle and Gabriel are due back in court today.

The actress is set to ask a judge to stop the model from having any contact with Nahla until the investigation is complete.

Meanwhile, Gabriel is requesting a restraining order against the nanny.

The model is said to believe Alliance has sided with his ex in their ongoing custody issues and claims she has fabricated the pushing claims against him.

In an interview with America’s Parade magazine, the actor, 22, admits he doesn’t do well without fear.

“There needs to be a part of me saying, ‘You can’t do that that’s going to fail,’ for me to prove myself wrong,” he said.

“What I’ve learned, particularly this year, is that all actors no matter their status or brilliance, still feel like fools.”

The actor who can soon be seen starring in his first post, Harry Potter film, the psychological thriller The Woman in Black also talks about everything from his love life to religion and why his partying days are over.

On being in love: Radcliffe met girlfriend Rosie Coker, a production assistant, on the set of the last Potter film.  “When Rosie’s here, every day seems better. Ultimately, I think, it comes down to that having somebody in your life who makes you happier than you thought you could be.” He adds, “I’m not an easy person to love. There are lots of times when I’m a very good boyfriend, but there are times when I’m useless. I mean, I’m a mess around the house. I talk nonstop. I become obsessed with things [fantasy football, most recently]. And she listens to it, and she loves me for my oddness, my awkwardness, all of those things that I hate about myself.”

On his dating skills: “I hated dating, because I’m crap at it! The We Found Love hitmaker commissioned British artist Claire Milner to create the huge picture of the tragic Hollywood icon using 65,000 Swarovski crystals and then spent thousands of pounds to have it shipped to her home in Beverly Hills.

“I tried to show the glitter of the public life and the sadness in Marilyn’s eyes. Because of who Rihanna is everything had to be done through her interior decorators. But they told me afterwards that she loved it,” Claire said.

Paul McCartney says his father is responsible for the sound of the Beatles.

The 69-year-old musician praises his dad James a keen amateur piano player for introducing him to music growing up in Liverpool when the family had to make their own entertainment.

“My first musical memories come from my dad,” said Paul. “He would play the piano at home  he and his friend Freddie Rimmer, both of whom worked at the cotton exchange in Liverpool as salesmen. This was the old days, you know.

Paul revealed his father’s influence stayed with him as he and John Lennon began writing for the Beatles.

David Arquette lands role in ex wife Cougar Town?

David Arquette is to guest star in Cougar Town with his estranged wife Courteney Cox.

The actor who separated from the former Friends actress in October 2010 will appear in the final episode of the upcoming third season of the TV show.

In the episode, David will play a hotel concierge who help’s Courteney’s character Jules a divorcee who dates much younger men get what she needs during her stay.

The Firework singer and the British actor announced the end of their 14 month marriage in December and friends say Malik Le Nost, a backing dancer on Katy’s California Dreams world tour, has been helping her cope although the relationship is strictly platonic.

“During the tour last year, Katy became extremely close to her band and backing dancers,” a source said. “They all lived in each other’s pockets and everyone knew how much Katy was suffering not least of all Malik.

“Throughout her trip to India, Katy spent a lot of time with him the pair would often stay up late into the night chatting and drinking in the hotel bar. When they were dancing on stage together, it was clear she only had eyes for him.

“In sound check on the day of the last show, the pair started falling about in fits of giggles over a private joke. It was as if they were a couple. Malik shot her cheeky winks across the stage and showered her with hugs. Katy was clearly loving the attention.”

Despite the chemistry between Katy and Malik, friends say the pair have not taken their relationship further yet.

“They insist they are just good friends but their closeness has set tongues wagging in the camp,” said the source.

Kate Winslet not worried about career in her mid-30s

Kate Winslet doesn’t worry about her career now she is in her 30s.

The 36-year-old actress who has been married twice before used to let her “ups and downs” affect how she felt about herself, but has now learned to let go of things she is not happy with.

“I’m not going to get upset the way I used to. Once you’re in your 30s you learn not to panic or stress too much about work,” he said.

“You don’t let the ups and downs of your career affect your sense of self-worth or personal well-being. That’s probably the greatest lesson I’ve learned from all of this.”

The Oscar-winning star who will soon be seen in cinemas in Roman Polanski‘s new movie Carnagealongside Jodie Foster is particularly happy with the direction her career is taking at present.

“I’m very happy and I can’t complain. I’ve had the chance to work on very good projects of late and work with very talented directors. I hope things continue that way,” she said.

Madonna steps up rivalry with Lady Gaga?

Madonna is stepping up her feud with Lady Gaga!

The 53-year-old singer has apparently insisted that if anyone wants her to attend their Oscars after-party, Gaga must not be on the same guest-list.

“It’s unusual for Madonna to be so petty,” a source said. “She doesn’t usually act like this, even about bitter enemies such as Sean Penn and J-Lo.

“But she didn’t want to be forced into a photo-op with Gaga.”

Madonna recently admitted she is a “details freak”.

“I wouldn’t go so far as to say I’m a control freak, but I am a detail freak. I chose the costumes, the locations, the lamps, the tables, the carpets, the drapes everything,” said Madonna, who directed, produced and wrote her new movie W.E.

“I also liked to put the finishing touches on the actors before they did their scenes you know, with their hair or clothes.

“Putting on a bracelet or something on to Andrea Riseborough‘s wrist gave me an emotional connection before directing her. Some of the jewellery we used was actually Wallis Simpson’s.”

Prince William & Kate Middleton has no plans for babies?

Prince William and Kate Middleton are putting their family plans on hold.

The pair who tied the knot in April last year are in “no hurry” to start a family and want to make sure that 2012 is a success for the sake of the Queen’s 60th anniversary celebrations.

“Realistically there is not going to be time for a baby and they have said they are in no hurry. There is no urgent need for an heir we already have two,” a source said.

“William and Kate want to take things in their own good time.”

Kate, 30, will start solo  official engagements next month, once William leaves for his first tour of duty in the Falkland Islands.

“It will be a good distraction for her and take her mind off worrying about William,” says the source. “At the moment, starting a family is definitely on the backburner.”

Nicolas Cage won't experiment with appearance anymore

Nicolas Cage has stopped experimenting with his appearance.

The 48-year-old actor used to enjoy changing his hairstyle but insists he now plans to stay the way he is and won’t be growing out his locks in the near future.

Discussing his role as Cameron Poe inCon Air, he told Empire magazine, “The look was a little bit country, more of a Southern look from the 70s.

“I’ve always tried to experiment with different looks, but I’ve stopped doing that now.

“You probably won’t see me doing any different hairstyles for a long time.”

Nicolas also admitted he “flipped out” while filming Face/Off  though he isn’t sure why the movie which saw his character swap faces and personalities with John Travolta‘s alter ego  disturbed him so much.

“That was a dark experience. There’s a scene where I’m in prison shouting, ‘I’m Caster Troy’ and if you look carefully at that scene, there’s a moment where I look really scared,” he added.

“I don’t know what happened, but it really flipped me out. I got really scared I was locked into that situation

“The idea is to make it looks easy and to have fun with it, but the subject-matter, even though it was far out, got in my head at times and it wasn’t always pleasant.”

Anthony Hopkins loves a quiet night in watching Mob Wives.

The Silence of the Lambs star admitted he is a loner who prefers his own company to other people’s and loves to watch the VH1 show which follows the lives of four women whose husbands or fathers are doing time for Mob-related activities.

“My idea of a good night is staying in and watching Mob Wives on TV,” he said. “I don’t have many friends; I’m very much a loner. As a child I was very isolated and I’ve never been really close to anyone. Ask nothing, expect nothing. That’s my creed. We’re all just a bunch of sinners crashing around in the darkness.”

Anthony also revealed despite the perception that he was close friends with legendary fellow Welsh actor Richard Bruton, the pair were never pals.

“I don’t know where everyone gets the idea we were good friends,” he said.” I suppose it’s because we are both Welsh and grew up near the same town.

“I didn’t really know him at all. I once went up to his sister’s house to ask for his autograph which he gave me and the only other time I met him was in his dressing room in New York when he was performing in Equus.”

Scarlett Johansson is planning to buy a property in London.

The actress is planning to relocate from New York because she wants to avoid any encounters with ex-husband Ryan Reynolds and his new girlfriend Blake Lively.

“Scarlett doesn’t want any awkward run-ins with Ryan and Blake in New York,” an insider told Britain’s Mail on Sunday.

“She was always a little uncomfortable about the fact that Ryan and Blake worked together while she was still married to him.

“When Scarlett is in New York she keeps a low profile. She wants to give the whole party scene a miss.

“She’s filming a movie called Under The Skin in Scotland at the moment but she is hoping to meet someone new. She adores British men and would love a place and a man in London.”

Michelle Williams doesn't smoke in front of daughter

Michelle Williams refused to smoke in every scene when filming My Week With Marilyn because she didn’t want to set  a bad example to her daughter.

The 31-year-old Oscar-nominated star bleached her hair and piled on the pounds to play Marilyn Monroe.

But she didn’t want six-year-old Matilda her daughter by late Dark Knight star Heath Ledger to see her puffing on cigarettes.

“Michelle smoked as little as she could even though Marilyn smoked a lot,” a source said.

“Michelle used to smoke but is now fiercely against it and didn’t want to set a bad example to her daughter. It upset her when Heath was alive that he chain-smoked and she is obsessed with avoiding any bad habits that could affect Matilda.”

Pippa Middleton gets charitable

Pippa Middleton is getting charitable.

The sister of Kate Middleton visited the Mary Hare school for deaf children in Berkshire, close to her family’s home, days before she jetted off to Mustique for a break.

Pippa and her brother James, 24, want to develop charitable roles now they are in the public eye.

“Pippa is very keen to give something back and she’s open to charity work,” says a friend.

“James is looking to incorporate a charitable dimension within his cake business.”

Simon Helberg and wife expecting first child

Simon Helberg has revealed that he and wife Jocelyn Towne are expecting a baby. 
The Big Bang Theory actor's rep disclosed the news in a statement on Friday (January 26).
"The Big Bang Theory's Simon Helberg and his wife, actress/writer/director Jocelyn Towne, have announced they are expecting their first child in the spring," the spokesperson told US Weekly.
Helberg - who plays Howard Wolowitz on the show - married Towne in Los Angeles in 2007. 
In addition to The Big Bang Theory, Helberg has appeared in National Lampoon's Van Wilder, A Cinderella Story and A Serious Man.
Towne made a guest appearance in Gossip Girl and is currently working on drama I Am I, in which she appears alongside her husband. The film also stars former Lost actor Kevin Tighe andParenthood's Jason Ritter.
The cast of The Big Bang Theory opened the People's Choice Awards in Los Angeles earlier this month. 

Beyoncé politics class to be taught at University

Beyoncé has become the topic of a new course offered at Rutgers University. 
The New Jersey college's Department of Women's and Gender Studies will teach 'Politicising Beyoncé' to students interested in learning about the exasperated singer's career and her cultural and political significance in the Western world. 
The class, taught by PhD student Kevin Allred, aims to examine all aspects of Beyoncé's public life, from her song lyrics and videos to her alter ego, Sasha Fierce. Those elements are then related to mainstream feminist figures such as Alice Walker and Sojourner Truth.
"This isn't a course about Beyoncé's political engagement or how many times she performed during President Obama's inauguration weekend," Allred told the Rutgers University website.
"She certainly pushes boundaries. While other artists are simply releasing music, she's creating a grand narrative around her life, her career, and her persona."
Allred also responded to any would-be critics who might claim that he is unqualified to teach such a course as a white male. 
"Of course, there are people who'll say, 'You're not black. You're not a woman'. It's something I'm always questioning and staying aware of so as not to overstep any bounds or make any claims for a group that I don't belong to. It's a fine line and I want to remain respectful of that," he said.
